The "15th Five-Year Plan" period represents a critical window for China's petrochemical industry to transition from a major producer to a global powerhouse. To overcome the bottlenecks in green transformation, resource efficiency, and independent innovation of high-end materials within the chemical and advanced materials sectors, as well as to promote high-quality development and collaborative innovation in frontier technologies, the 2026 International Conference on Chemical and Materials (ICCM 2026) will be held in Shenyang, China, from August 5 to August 8, 2026. Approved by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, the conference is organized by the Liaoning Chemical Society and hosted by Liaoning Petrochemical University.
Under the theme of "Green · Smart · Innovative: Chemical New Materials Driving Sustainable Development" the conference aims to establish a high-end platform for academic exchange. By bringing together top global intellects, it focuses on major national strategic needs and deep industrial development to explore frontier scientific questions, key technological breakthroughs, and industry trends. The event is dedicated to further stimulating scientific and technological innovation vitality, while fostering international academic exchange and cooperation. Concurrently, a series of academic symposia and field visits will be organized.
